A Little Bit About Rose…
“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”
Freelance writer and travel enthusiast, Rose Burke, often writes essays inspired by her awkward experiences and life’s cruel sense of humor. When she's not doing that, she's typically writing entertainment articles on women's issues, politics, feminism, pop culture, and other trending topics her readers enjoy.
Rose's work has been published in several literary magazines including The Southampton Review, The Conium Review, and The Starving Writer. Additionally, she has bylines in a variety of online magazines such as The Independent, The Richest, CinemaBlend, Ranker, Nicki Swift, and The Bolde.
Not-so-shockingly, the most noteworthy moment of her childhood occurred at the Scholastic Book Fair where Jon Scieszka signed her very own copy of "The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales" and labeled her his “favorite stinker." Rose is currently focusing on a collection of humorous personal essays while traveling the world.
